Bilal feels bad about leaving abruptly but it was strange. He’s just always been so focused on well…being Nightrunner and protecting his home from greed, corruption and more that this attention was getting to make him red. Out of custom, he had kissed her on the cheek through his mask.

Amused, she leans back, amusement completely obvious in her voice and features at this point, “Are you sure?”
Barbara’s amusement made him uneasy so the Nightrunner had slowly pulled over his mask once more. “I hope you do not mind but I have some running to do.”
She let’s out a soft chuckle.

Bilal clears his throat. “Perfectly fine,” he spoke after making sure he wouldn’t stammer, this time in English.
She can’t help but smile when he starts to blush. He was so cute and she adored him to bits.
